Desert Trip, a three-day music festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, begins on Friday. While the acts – The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and the Who – have been known for months, today we got our first look at what the layout of the festival grounds will be.
The stage, seating and general admission area take up the majority of the grounds – but there is also a pretty big area dedicated to dining – Culinary Experience and Outstanding in the Field – and what appears to be a huge “Photography Experience” tent.
There will also be the Ferris Wheel at the entrance to the fest (same spot as Coachella and Stagecoach) and what looks like plenty of spots to grab some merch or a drink, including the beer barn.
Gates will open everyday at 2 pm and you can see the set times here.
