The Coachella Valley is now home to plenty of places where you can buy recreational marijuana legally, just don’t expect to bring any to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. Well, openly bring it in, anyway.
Marijuana became legal on January 1 but, as NME first noticed, the FAQ section of Coachella’s website says they still have it on their list of banned items:
“Sorry bro. Marijuana and marijuana products aren’t allowed inside [the festival]. Even in 2018 and beyond. If that changes, we’ll update this answer.”
Welp, that settles it. There won’t be any marijuana of any kind in Coachella.
