The River in Rancho Mirage has announced a couple of new eateries coming to the shopping center.
“We’re excited to tell you this weekend that MidiCi, The Neoplitan Pizza Company will be opening up this winter,” spokesman Joe Enos told KESQ. “And Coachella Wine, which will be a great new wine bar. So two new additions coming to the river this fall and winter.”
MidiCi is going into the space once occupied by Baja Fresh (which shut down without anyone noticing). The chain slings out fast casual pizzas similar to Blaze, Your Pie, Pieology, and just about every other restaurant that has been opening in the Coachella Valley recently.
Coachella Winery is slated to take over the spot next to Bath and Body Works. No word on what will be on the menu…though, if I had to wager a guess, I would go with some sort of an alcoholic beverage made from grapes.
