A 27-year-old man is dead after he was decapitated in a freak accident while riding a motorcycle in San Bernardino.
A man driving a Ford Taurus on Adams Street lost control of his car on Tuesday morning and ended up striking a mailbox, driving across a home’s lawn, and hitting a utility pole, reports the Press Enterprise. The wires of the pole then were sent across the road.

Minutes later, Fabian Zepeda, drove into the path of the downed wires, which decapitated him.
βAt that height at that time, it would have been really hard to see that wire,β Detective Devin Peck told the San Bernardino Sun.
The man driving the Taurus did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol and was not taken into custody.
