A motorcyclist is dead after a crash Friday night in Palm Desert.
A pickup truck and the motorcycle were involved in the collision, which happened about 7:18 pm at Washington Street and East Hovley Lane, according to KESQ. A deputy told the TV station that the motorcycle rear-ended the truck.

The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
