The good news: you have your first chance to see a glimpse of Star Wars: The Force Awakens this weekend!
The bad news: you may have to drive a bit to do it.
According to a press release from Regal Cinemas, the preview for J.J. Abrams’ new Star Wars flick will appear before all movies from Nov. 28 – 30 at nine theaters nationwide, including these two in SoCal:
Irvine, CA: Edwards Irvine Spectrum 22 & IMAX
San Diego, CA: Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
Now it is still possible that the trailer will debut at Regal’s theaters in The Coachella Valley as the press release said “more to come”(hey, maybe someone who works at a local Regal can help us out with a news tip?) – if so, we will keep you posted.
The movie is due to come out in December of 2015.
UPDATE: More theaters have been added, but sadly – still no theaters in The Coachella Valley.
