A guy from East Texas is in the news because he claims that he found fossils from Noah’s flood in his aunt’s yard – a claim backed up by a “self-proclaimed fossil expert”. So yeah, case closed. Discovery of the century.
“From Noah’s flood to my front yard, how much better can it get,” Wayne Propst told CBS 19.
Propst says he made the find while helping his aunt lay some dirt outside her home in Tyler, Texas.
“What’s really interesting to me is we’re talking about the largest catastrophe known to man, the flood that engulfed the entire world,” Propst said.
Joe Taylor, a self-proclaimed fossil expert, was brought in and confirmed the find – even though he has never actually seen the fossils in person.
“I’ve never heard of anything about that from over there, I’m surprised he found it there,” Taylor said.
Propst now spends his days with his aunt and some neighborhood kids combing through the dirt and sending photos to Taylor – who is so amazing, he can verify something as huge as this discovery over the internet using only pics.
“Now all I got to do is go in front of my aunt’s house and pick up something from back when it all began. I don’t even have to search anymore,” Propst told the TV station. “Who else can say they have a front yard full of Noah’s dirt?”
