A 51-year-old man in Apple Valley was somehow captured after robbing an Apple Valley auto parts store, despite his amazing disguise.
Gary Victor was arrested after he allegedly broke into the store after hours and grabbed a bunch of battery chargers. Victor attempted to disguise his identity by wearing a maxi pad on his face – but, despite his amazing mask, he made a huge error.
“We had a pretty good picture of his face cause he came to the store the first time and looked in the window without his maxipad on,” store owner Mark Wedell told NBC 4, chuckling somewhat. “But when he came back and he had the maxipad over his eyes I guess he thought it was going to take care of everything.”
Police believe that “The Maxi Pad Bandit” was under the influence of something during the robbery.
