This could be some good news for anyone who enjoys whiskey, Guinness, and corned beef and cabbage. 

Update: they have opened!

O’Caine’s Irish Pub is slated to open at the Rancho Mirage Marketplace (Gelson’s center at Bob Hope and Gerald Ford), according to a post from the shopping center on Facebook.

The pub will offer a traditional Irish menu as well as specialty beers, wines, and cocktails.

No word yet on an opening date.
