Sorry about the language there. Look, I know the desert gets hot. It is, after all, a desert. But, c’mon can’t we have just a day or two of Spring?
As KESQ notes, Indio set a new record for the date by hitting 98 degrees. The previous high was 97 degrees, which was set back in 1916 – which is the year many every current Coachella Valley resident you end following on Highway 111 graduated high school.
This summer is going to suck.
