An early morning crash on the 10 Freeway left a a driver dead after their car to burst into flames.
The incident happened about 2:06 am in the westbound lanes near Dillon Road in Coachella, according to a Cal Fire news release.

Fire crews arrived to find the car engulfed in flames. The fire was put out and the driver was pronounced on the scene.
