A person was seriously injured after a car crashed into a Palm Desert store on Tuesday morning.
The cash happened about 11:19 am at Giselle’s Boutique on San Pablo, according to a CAL FIRE news release. One person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. It’s not clear if the injured person was in the car or the store at the time of the incident.

The store front and utilities were checked by firefighters and are secure. No word yet on what caused the vehicle to plow into the store.
