Some couples spend months or even years planning their wedding ceremony, but one couple chose instead to do it just moments after meeting for the first time at Ontario International Airport.
Erica Harris and Arte Vann first connected on Instagram last year. She is from Murrieta, he is from New York. So, for months, they traded pictures, poetry and videos.
Until this weekend, when Vann bought a one-way plane ticket. The two met, he dropped to a knee to pop the question (she, of course, said “yes”), and soon after they got hitched.
“You don’t drag your feet with real love. You leap into that like there’s no tomorrow, and that’s what we’re doing,” Harris told CBS 2.
Harris’s Instagram profile now says she’s married “to the man of my dreams,” while Vann calls her “the love of my life.”
