The outdoor ice skating rink is returning to the River in Rancho Mirage

The outdoor ice skating rink next that was next to the Cheesecake Factory at the River in Rancho Mirage during the Holidays will return in 2017.

Organizers of the rink made the announcement on Wednesday on Instagram:

It's official friends, the Renova Rink @ The River will return this fall.

The rink had 10,000 skaters during its first season, according to City News Service.

No word yet on what the official opening date will be, but here’s guessing around Thanksgiving.
