St. Patrick’s Day is always a great time to celebrate with boiled meat, whiskey, and beer. Sure, there is plenty of cool stuff going on – but, if you are going to celebrate, be sure you have a designated driver or take a cab or Lyft home.
The Palm Desert Police Department has announced they will be deploying additional officers on special DUI Saturation Patrols for St. Patrick’s Day and throughout the weekend looking for drivers showing signs of alcohol or drug impairment.
There are plenty of other ways to get around – whether it be a DD, cab, Uber, or Lyft.
Unfortunately, the city of Palm Desert does not offer a free shuttle like Palm Springs does. Spending too much money on former city mangers, I guess.
