A Palm Desert woman was arrested after police say she crashed her golf cart into a parked car on Saturday night.

Virginia Glidden, 52, failed to properly navigate a left turn and slammed into a parked car inside of Indian Ridge Country Club at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night, according to police.

Glidden was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/and or drugs. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local area hospital as a precaution before she was released pending further investigation.
