One Palm Desert business was destroyed and at least two others damaged in a two-alarm fire that broke out in an industrial area of Palm Desert on Tuesday.
The blaze was reported at 1:40 pm at the 74800 block of Joni Drive, according to CalFire. 50 firefighters took on the blaze at the Rough and Ready Store.

Inside the store was vintage army vehicles, military memorabilia, and ammunition – which could be heard exploding at the scene, according to KESQ.

“No injuries, civilian or firefighter. But it was definitely a dangerous fire,” CalFire public information officer Lucas Spelman told the TV station.
