Palm Desert Saturation Patrol leads to 1 arrest, 15 citations

A Saturation Patrol conducted by the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station resulted in the arrest of one person on suspicion of DUI.

Deputies also made 30 vehicle enforcement stops and cited 15 drivers for various vehicle code violations during the enforcement period which took place on December 28 from 4:00 pp to 2:00 am. The period saw police looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Funding for this DUI operation is provided to the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
