Call me crazy, but I am starting to think maybe Jody Wayne Noel of Palm Springs wants to be put in jail.
Noel was arrested for the 3rd time in less than a month on Thursday, this time for an alleged carjacking. The Desert Sun reports:
Noel was arrested again at about 7:20 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 1400 block of Luna Way on suspicion of carjacking, several violations related to illegal firearms possession and two violations of committing a felony while out on bail, according to police.
He is accused of brandishing a handgun, demanding the keys to a black 2004 Audi A4 and driving off at about 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 2600 block of Chuperosa Road.
The victim was an acquaintance of Noel’s and waited until about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday to report the incident.
Noel had previously been arrested for carrying a gun into The Palm Springs Airport and robbing a Walmart (which ended with a 4-hour SWAT team event at the same house where cops found the Audi Thursday).
