If you happen to have switched away from Netflix and put on the old-school tv this week, you might have seen Palm Springs featured on two popular holiday shows.
Tuesday, Chrissy Teigen joined Ellen for Day 7 of her “12 Days of Giveaways” – which included a hotel stay for every audience member at the V Palm Springs complete with”a $100 resort credit and, yeah, the crowd was stoked – even though it was just the regular V hotel and not the Taco Bell Hotel.
Meanwhile, on Monday night, viewers of ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” were treated to a showcase of RoboLights in Palm Springs – which is great timing, seeing as RoboLights is in Detroit this year.
The segment, which might have brought tourist dollars to the area had the city not run the annual event out of town, had host Taniya Nayak touring the Palm Springs property with creator Kenny Irwin Jr. while showing both surprise and confusion – which is the norm when it comes too RoboLights.
