The 52-year-old man who was found by cops hanging from a tree outside of a Palm Springs mortuary has been identified.

The body of Jeffry Lepley was found by cops hanging from a tree outside in a parking lot in front of Wiefels Mortuary & Cremation Service. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Lepley was wearing only underwear and a pair of boots.
