The Palm Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the driver they believe was involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on S. Palm Canyon Dr. on Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the scene about 9:30 to find a victim who appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved fled in a vehicle described as a dark colored compact sedan. Police believe that the vehicle is likely to have front end collision damage.
