August, the hottest month of the year in Palm Springs, is sneaking up fast and local residents know that the only way to get through it is to hydrate, find shade, and take a dip in the pool…just as long as it is not at The Palm Springs Swim Center – which is closing for most of August for repairs.
According the The Desert Sun, repairs planned for the center include replacing a pool deck and infrastructure – but won’t involve cutting down any ficus trees!
But most importantly, no snowbirds will be without their pool time (or ficus trees!) come January.
