While the price of alcohol is up in San Francisco and San Diego (not to mention everywhere else in the country), it is actually down a bit (a very small bit) in Riverside County.

The Consumer Price Index found that the price of alcoholic beverages was increasing faster than the rate of inflation so far this year. San Francisco residents were hit the hardest, with alcohol, beer, and wine prices inching up over 3%. Meanwhile in Riverside, LA, and Orange Counties the price of alcohol has somehow gone down – albeit a very small 0.12%.

Let’s all celebrate with a ever-so-slightly cheeper drink!  Cheers!!

  1. That’s so funny you posted that. I just got into my car with my daughter a little while ago and yes they were playing Christmas music. It’s really hard to listen to that when it is 84 degrees out. They already started playing Christmas commercials on TV. Really!!!
