A man suspected of stealing a car in Palm Springs was arrested after he tried to flee from police on a bicycle, only to crash that bike into a CHP cruiser who was chasing him.
The crash happened happened near Ramon Road and Oleander Road in Palm Springs about 1 pm on Wednesday, reports KESQ.
The suspect, whose name has not yet been made public, ran from authorities on foot before grabbing a bike.
At some point, the suspect turned the bike directly into the CHP vehicle.
The suspect suffered minor injuries and, according to the Desert Sun, was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center.
