KESQ did a story last night on all the stuff passengers are trying, and failing, to carry on planes at Palm Springs International airport. Some of the items are terrifying (two guns), some are hilarious (garden tools), and some are just confusing (a singular 5 pound dumbbell) – but the thing that everyone seems to be trying to bring on is corkscrews. Seriously, look at all the freakin’ corkscrews!
Two things: 1) perhaps try leaving your corkscrew at home when you travel, and 2) don’t be surprised if your buddy who works at TSA gives you a corkscrew as a birthday gift.
