5 Things to do in Greater Palm Springs This Weekend

For the first time in a looooooong time, the forecast calls for high temps to be under the 100 degree mark (and even the 90 degree mark on Sunday) in The Coachella Valley this weekend.

That means there is finally some things going on around these parts.  Here are 5:

Kiefer Sutherland and His Band

Kiefer Sutherland Band

Jack Bauer is in Pioneertown to play some tunes with his band (yes, he has a band…who knew?) at Pappy and Harriet’s. Tickets were priced at $15 for Friday’s 8:30 p.m. show, but are sold out – probably by fans who hope he jumps into a Christmas tree on stage.

Andy Grammer

Hey!  It is that guy who does that song…and that other song!   Grammer takes to the stage at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa at 9 p.m. on Friday night.  Tickets are $25 and $45.

Ron White

The comedian will drink some Scotch, smoke a cigar, and tell some jokes Friday night at The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Spa.  Showtime is 9 p.m. on Friday and tickets will run you $70 to $245.

Juice Newton

She had 14 Top 10 hits (!) on Billboard in the 80s and she is headed to Palm Springs on Friday and Saturday night.  Tickets start at $25 for her performances at Copa.   Showtime is 8 p.m. each night.

Duran Duran

Tough to believe, but Duran Duran has been around nearly 40 years!  The band, which formed in 1978, will be stopping into The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Spa on Saturday night to perform a concert that, despite tickets ranging from $95 to $185, has been sold out for months.

Have a great weekend…and whatever you do, enjoy the fantastic weather!
