The Palm Springs Police Department is conducting a DUI checkpoint this Friday (July 6, 2018) in Palm Springs.

The checkpoint will be at an undisclosed location within the city limits between the hours of 9:00 pm to 2:30 am, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.

Cops will be looking for signs of alcohol and drug impairment as well as checking licenses and registration.

Checkpoint or no checkpoint, if you have had too much to drink take a Lyft, an Uber, a cab, have a designated driver, or just stay home.

There used to be another option, but the city of Palm Springs chose to kill the Palm Springs Buzz shuttle because Palm Springs is not allowed to have nice things.
