If you were in from out-of-town and had just one day to spend in the Greater Palm Springs area what would you do? What restaurants would you go to and what would you do? Lay by the pool? Hike? Go bar hopping? Tramway? Something cool that only you know about?
A Long Beach resident has reached out to Palm Springs locals asking just that very question.
Redditor “beansporut_” posted this to The Palm Springs subReddit (which exists even though hardly anyone knows it is there):
Hi everyone
I’ve decided to spend this Tuesday out in Palm Springs with two friends of mine. I live in Long Beach and I’m just driving out for the day and coming back at night. Anything I must see? This won’t be my first time out there but I just wanted an insiders opinion. Any cool restaurant recommendations? Something kitschy maybe that wouldn’t be on trip advisor? Thanks!
As most (if not all) Palm Springs vacation guides are geared towards the incredibly old or incredibly derpy set, let’s take a moment and help someone have a rad day in Palm Springs. You clearly know your stuff, so comment with your perfect day with tips, suggestions, itineraries, etc. for meals, stuff to do, things to see, and all that jazz in The Coachella Valley.
