The Coachella Music and Arts Festivals second weekend took place this past weekend and the city of Indio and the Make-A-Wish Foundation teamed up to give two young women a chance to experience the fest as VIPs.
“Earlier today, the City of Indio worked together with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make two incredible young ladies’ wish of a Coachella VIP experience come true,” the Indio Police Department said in an Instagram post. “As part of the tour, they met with operators from the Desert Regional SWAT team. They were introduced to the SWAT operators and learned about the officer’s duties, the vehicles and equipment that is available at the festival grounds. We hope the girls have a great time out at the festival and we were honored to have been part of their VIP experience.”
