
A Pioneertown man was arrested Thursday after investigators with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department discovered over two dozen firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
A search warrant was served at a residence on Pipes Canyon Road about 11 am on Thursday. The warrant was related to a burglary investigation and stolen property, according to Z107.7.
Justin Channell, 34, was identified as a suspect in the burglary and was located at the residence after the search warrant service. Channell, a convicted felon, is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms and ammunition.
He was arrested for investigation of burglary, being a felon in possession of firearms, and being a felon in possession of ammunition.
