Pívat Cigar Lounge, a new upscale cigar lounge, has opened at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage.
The name Pívat comes from the Cahuilla Indian word for “smoking tobacco.” The lounge offers a selection of premium hand-rolled cigars (more than 100 types!) along with signature cocktails and cigar pairings.
For those with an appetite, there is also a select menu of small bites and entrees available from The Steakhouse, which is located next door to Pívat – including an Ms7 Australian Wagyu New York Strip steak, among the rarest beef in the world.
The pairing menu includes an Old Fashioned with a full bodied cigar for $15, a Manhattan pairing with a full bodied cigar for $14, and a Mai Tai with a medium bodied cigar for $12.

Cigars available at the lounge include Arturo Fuente, Davidoff, Graycliff, Gurkha, Montecristo, My Father, Oliva, Padron, Rocky Patel, and Romeo y Julieta.
Individual cigars range in price from approximately $5 to $51.
Pívat Cigar Lounge is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm.
