The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced the arrest of three people after the discovery of over 1,000 illegal marijuana plants at a residence in Anza.
An officer with the San Gorgonio Pass CHP contacted Nathan Zapata and Alyssa Gervais in a high-crime area of Anza on February 21. Through their conversation, the deputy learned that Zepata had a no-bail felony warrant and was on active PRCS. Gervais also had a felony no-bail warrant. Both suspects were placed under arrest, according to the CHP.
After they were booked, officials conducted a search of Zapata’s residence, which yielded the seizure of an unregistered rifle, over 400 rounds of ammunition, 1,033 marijuana plants, 200 lbs of dry marijuana, and multiple grams of heroin.
