A 26-year-old woman found dead in a laundry chute early Sunday morning at The D Las Vegas hotel has been identified by police.
Citrus Heights, Calififornia resident Kalli Medina-Brown, 26, was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office, reports News 3. She was in Las Vegas celebrating her upcoming 27th birthday with her husband and friends according to The Daily Mail.
Police were called to the location about 2:40 a.m. reports The Las Vegas Sun. Someone reported she had a medical episode, says The Daily Mail, and fell down the chute – but police were called to the scene after the circumstances of her death seemed suspicious.
A hotel spokeswoman called the death, “unfortunate.”
