The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is searching for the suspect in a possible armed robbery at Coachella business early Saturday morning.
Police told KESQ that an adult male, possibly Hispanic, entered a business on Grapefruit Boulevard with a handgun and demanded money about 2:30 am. At some point, the handgun went off, but no one was injured.
The suspect fled on foot southbound on Grapefruit Boulevard with an undisclosed amount of cash.
