An investigation is underway after police say there were four to five shots fired at a Palm Springs apartment building on Tuesday.
Police were called to Rosa Parks Road about 4:30 pm, according to a Facebook post from the department. Officers spotted an unoccupied vehicle with obvious bullet holes and blood inside when they arrived.
A short time later, a patient arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The 18-year-old Indio man was interviewed by officers and was uncooperative. It is currently not known if the victim is connected to the shooting on Rosa Parks Drive.
His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
