Police are investigating after a possible shooting in La Quinta on Saturday night.
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Fred Waring drive near Adams street after reports that several shots were fired in the area, according to KESQ. Deputies told the TV station they had reports of someone banging on doors and hiding in the bushes in the area.
Meanwhile, Indio police responded to the victim of a gun shot nearby. That victim was taken to the hospital and their condition is unknown. It’s not confirmed that the events are related.
