A shooting that a happened at the Highland Springs Avenue off-ramp off of I-10 eastbound is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol, reports the Press Enterprise.
The shooting happened at 10:20 a.m. and it is not yet clear if anyone was injured.
KESQ is reporting that traffic is backed up in the area due to the investigation. The off-ramp is located at the border of Banning and Beaumont.
Officers are looking for the shooter.
Update 11:57 am: KMIR reports that a possible suspect involved in the shooting was pulled over at the Pilot truck stop on Indian Canyon near the 10 freeway.
