Update: Albert Marchain, 27, of Desert Hot Springs was arrested Tuesday, according to KESQ. According to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department, Marchain was a suspect in the stabbing death of a 69-year-old man whose body was found in the back of an apartment building on Hacienda Avenue Monday.
The victim, who has not yet been named, was stabbed multiple times.
11/12: Officials from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department were at an apartment complex on Hacienda Boulevard investigating a suspicious death on Monday.
“We are working a death investigation I don’t believe we have categorized it as a homicide as of yet. But yes we are there investigating,” Desert Hot Springs Police Chief Dale Mondary told KESQ.
