Everyone at Cal State University San Marcos lost their shit Wednesday, as campus police ordered students and faculty to shelter in place because of a man with a “weapon”. Fox 5 reports:
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department sent ten units to the campus at about 9 a.m. after receiving reports that a bald white man wearing a black shirt and jeans was seen carrying a long weapon, possibly a rifle.
Campus police said they located the man shortly after 9 a.m. He was carrying an umbrella, not a weapon, a sheriff’s spokesperson said.
It rained a bit in San Marcos Wednesday – so thanks a lot Drought, you have made people forget what the hell an umbrella is.
