Police in Cathedral City are looking for a man they say assaulted a clerk at Pony Express Outfitters on Monday during a robbery

The incident happened at 5:20 pm, reports the Desert Sun. The victim was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras while inside the store. He’s described as a white man between the ages of 30 and 40, about 6′ tall, and of thin build.
