Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after witnesses reported hearing possible gunshots at the Moreno Valley Mall Thursday morning.
Police were called to the mall about noon. They have since tweeted that it is not an active shooter situation.

A witnesses told the Press Enterprise that there was a fight between several young men before what sounded like shots were fired. An employee of the mall said she heard two shots downstairs.

An employee with Hot Dog on a Stick told NBC 4 that the mall appears to be open and operating normally as of 1 pm.
