As the PouGhazi scandal continues to grip Palm Springs, approximately 125 citizens packed the Palm Springs City Council meeting on Wednesday night with many expecting Mayor Steve Pougnet to resign. It didn’t happen.
Pougnet took a moment to address the situation at the beginning of the meeting. Via The Desert Sun:
“We all want it to be swift and thorough as possible … For many of you in the crowd hoping to hear the words, ‘I’m going to resign,’ tonight — I’m not going to resign tonight,” Pougnet said.
