A pipeline leak spilled an estimated 29,400 gallons in Ventura County on Thursday morning.
Crews have been racing to stop the crude oil from flowing into the ocean after a leak was spotted at Prince Barranca valley, according to the LA Times. The leak occurred in the Hall Canyon area- which is about 1-mile inland of San Buenaventura State Beach.
Crews have been battling to make sure the crude does not reach the ocean.

The spill is estimated to involve 700 barrels.
