It’s here! The game we’ve been waiting all year for, Puppy Bowl XIV (that’s 14 for all you non-Romans out there) and it’s the best day of the year!
While a few Americans might be watching The Super Bowl, the rest of us will be watching The Puppy Bowl! Adoptable pups make their television debut in the cutest sporting event ever. Rufferee Dan Schachner will be calling the shots, fumbles, and adorable penalties as Team Ruff takes on Team Fluff. I personally have my money on Team Ruff, mostly because of Peanut, a 15 week old Australian Shepherd-Pointer. Look at those little paws!
Ohmahgawd.
Check out the Puppy Bowl XIV Pre-game Show here for a sneak peek before the big game taking place on Sunday. For extra entertainment, Animal Planet also has Puppy Bowl XIV Presents: Training Camp Confidential. That’s over 80 minutes of puppy overload! You can even make Puppy Bowl XIV trading cards for your furry friend. Here’s mine!
The Puppy Bowl will feature over 90 pups from 48 shelters and rescues. This year, two very special puppers (Kaleb Jr. and Archer) were flown to the US from Puerto Rico by The Sato Project, in the wake of Hurricane Maria. Both athletes been adopted already, so their furry tail ending is just beginning!
This two hour special is so fun to watch. The Katty Furry halftime show a few years back was on fire (Justin Timberlake who?), not to mention the hamsters that are usually in the blimp flying around the stadium. It’s goofy, it’s cute, and with a good cause behind it, how can you go wrong?
Tune in to Animal Planet Sunday, February 4 at 3:00PM ET/12:00P PT to watch Puppy Bowl XIV.
