This year has been a wet one in the Coachella Valley but things appear to looking more like what we are used to in the weather forecast.

The 10-day forecast doesn’t have any rain at all in the forecast for the desert beginning Tuesday – so feel free to put away your giant inflatable ducks.

Things will be a little chilly earlier in the week, with highs only in the upper 50s to low 60s, but should warm up to the 70s by the weekend.

It’s probably the type of weather forecast the Obamas were looking forward to when they decided Rancho Mirage would be their vacation spot upon leaving the White House – so, hopefully they stick around for a bit and do all the cool things they should be doing.

Update: Nevermind, the Obamas have left town.
