Going to a high school football game means bleacher seats, crappy hot dogs, and (in The Coachella Valley) enduring some hot temperatures. But who cares right? You are supporting The Valley’s young people and hey, it is not like schools nowadays are flush with cash.
Well, that won’t be the case for some fans at one Coachella Valley high school. The Desert Sun reports:
As the school begins its first year with a varsity football team, Rancho Mirage is offering air-conditioned seating for six, VIP parking and what athletic director Chris Calderwood calls “the best view in the Pit.”
…A company or an individual can buy the luxury box next to the pressbox for one night or for the whole season. Calderwood said he is still discussing the pricing.
The boxholder will also receive preferred parking and, if they want, a golf cart to shuttle them to and from the stadium.
No word yet if the school will allow the suite to be rented by people under 30.
