Landers is home to one of the oddest buildings in the world: The Integratron. And December 21st, that odd building will be host to one of the oddest musicians in the world: Moby.
According the Integratron website:
Moby has a deep love of architecture, which drew him to the Integratron this summer. After experiencing a sound bath, he generously offered to perform at the Integratron to benefit its restoration. Moby will play a 90-minute concert upstairs inside the Integratron’s deeply resonant chamber.
I suppose it is not every day that you can enjoy a concert in a “deeply resonant chamber” – which is why the event has already sold out! But then maybe it sold out because of this:
Moby took an exceptional and beautiful photograph of the Integratron on a stormy day. Signed copies of his beautiful Integratron photo will be available for sale at the event.
A picture of The Integratron signed by Moby just in time for Christmas! Looks like someone out there is getting a really odd stocking stuffer this year.
