A reader sent in another nominee for our Coachella Valley Parking Hall of Fame which they spotted near the Winco in Indio on Thursday morning because, as we all know: Those pesky parking lines are only there for everyone else.
“But there are plenty of open parking spots in that picture, so what’s the big deal?” someone will surely say to this post. And while that may be true, you have to draw the line somewhere (not that this driver cares all that much about lines).
The parking lot is empty. The driver clearly cares about his car and doesn’t want it dinged by the ignorants who don’t respect other peoples property and the effort it takes to get nice things. If the parking lot was packed on Christmas Eve, then O.K., bitch about it. Otherwise, this feels like unnecessary public shaming.
Not really, follow the lines. Stay inside and you should be fine.
