In a summer filled with Coachella Valley restaurant closings, another eatery has bitten the dust. The Desert Sun reports The Rancho Mirage Crab Pot has closed its doors:
The Crab Pot location off Highway 111 shuttered abruptly and put roughly 25 employees out of work, said Melissa Fields, manager of The Crab Pot in La Quinta.
Recent Yelp reviews complained of “bland food” and not so stellar service at the establishment – which had a 3 (out of 5) star rating. The La Quinta Crab Pot will remain open – but will close for a month starting August 11.
